The roller-bases are complex in design, yet simple in operation.   The hoops are placed on the wheels in the roller-bases, and the car body can be rotated to the desired position and held in place by using one of the four foot-operated brakes.  Simply press the brake pedal down and the brake is engaged and will hold in that position. To release, lift the pedal with your toe, and you are ready to rotate the hoop and body shell.  The bases also have a convenient handle grip on each end for easy maneuverability.  The roller-bases are laser-cut, tig-welded and powder coated in black.  The phenolic wheels within the roller-bases provide a durable surface for the hoops to roll on and the roller bearings can be easily lubricated for maintenance.
